Exploring the rich heritage of nandi temple

 As the part of our  activity we visited an Bhoganandishwara temple.

Deity  : Lord Shiva

Festival  : Shivratri

Affiliation : Hinduism


• the temple is constructed of stone.

•its exterior is adorned with intricate carvings of Lord Shiva,Vishnu and Brahma.

• the temple is located on a hill call Nandi hills which is considered to be one of the most  scenic spot.

•standing in front of temple is an intricatly carved stone umbrella or chakra.

• This is the most recognisable image I saw at the temple.

• The carvings and architectural details on the exterior of the temple,seen as I walk around the inner compound was  adorable.

Food fest

 The Food fest was organized in our college campus by our college management on behalf of 23 rd youth fest which is organised in our college. There is a geo tagged picture: Our college students were the part of this food fest. Students you are interested in cooking and cooking related activities took part in this Event. There were many food stoll with different varieties of food .there were many snacks also like Pani puri , french fries and so on. It snacks were very crunchy and yummy.we enjoyed a lot .it was such a nice memory.

Science day

                      SCIENCE DAY As we all know we celebrate the World Science Day of 28 th February on the  rememberence of Raman effect by the great scientist Sir C.V Raman. As a part of this day in our college management has organised a science day in our college auditorium. All the college students, lectures along with the many  school childrens were part of this program . The childrens of the school which are near by chikkaballapur we also took part in this program. Even the Science exhibition was conducted on the day .Many children made there own  experiment ,models and charts.Their presentation and the way of explaining their model was so amazing. I was very amazed by hearing their language skills .  All our lectures and students visited  the science exhibition.It was such a great experience to interact with the cute, intelligent and future scientist of our India .
